Funding research to reduce injuries in baseball

We have big plans here at the Foundation!

We are committed to reducing the number of baseball related injuries in the game today.

One of our main concerns is with youth baseball and the number of injuries we see as a result of year-round play, over-use of players, and just plain uninformed coaches and parents that perpetuate many of the myths associated with throwing, hitting, and other aspects of the sport.

It's great to see pitch totals being monitored and enforced in the youth leagues today. Just as research provided those guidelines to save young arms, the Rod Dedeaux Reserach and Baseball Foundation is planning to go even deeper with research on hitting, throwing, conditioning, and more!

Help us continue our research so we provide the best information possible in an effort to protect our athletes, young and older alike!

You can donate right now by calling the RDRBF at (310) 749-0440. Be sure to let our staff know that you are calling to make a donation to the Foundation.
